Ann Hathaway and Tom Garrett are the co-owners of Van Nuys Lodge, a bed and breakfast. They have had a romantic relationship for twelve years and a working relationship as partners in Van Nuys Lodge for the past two years. The only thing that stands in the way of a perfect marriage is the fact that Tom has a little psychological problem involving commitment.
